TAMBAH (from Tupi, “shells”), produced by Tapetah, is the piece that designer Rodrigo Ambrosio presents at Design Week. The series of centerpieces, which can also be used as wall mandalas, is handwoven with natural jute and cotton fibers by artisans from the countryside of Minas Gerais, bringing together Brazilian craft traditions and parametric concepts inspired by patterns found in nature.
