Erico Gondim
Erico Gondim is a design maker deeply fascinated by the transformation of materials into forms that evoke both tradition and experimentation.
At our exhibition, Erico presents not only his Mole—voluminous sculptural piece meticulously handwoven in synthetic fibers—but also his stunning carnaúba straw installation that gives life to the Terra space.
Mole explores the boundaries between art, craft, and design. Through repetition and rhythm, guided by mathematical logic and nature’s own geometry, they invite interaction, turning the observer into an active participant.
His practice is rooted in over a decade of experience across design, fashion, craftsmanship, and social impact. His work reaffirms the vitality of Brazilian craft in contemporary design.
