The Copacabana Sofa is inspired by the gentle lines of the hills seen from the southern zone, an invitation to relax and appreciate the beauty of everyday life. It is a symbiosis between the studio's expertise in creating metal structures and a new way of upholstery: organic and irregular, in a bossa rhythm.
The Copacabana Sofa is part of the Bem Rio collection. It's as if it brings together two creatives in the same beat. Matthias Ambros and João Gilberto - one a designer, the other, bossa. Distant, in different eras, they found the same creative breath in the breeze of Ipanema.
A link between the past and the present, with pieces that rescue the iconic lines of the landscape and transport us to this place that inspires action. Bem Rio is the unlikely essay of this connection. Matthias and João, each in their own way, transforming the same inspiration into new bossas: creations that are very much in the style of the Marvelous City.
