Isadora Mourão is from Minas Gerais state and holds degrees in Architecture and Urbanism as well as Space Design. She has always been attracted to the universe of shapes and materials, playing with the possibilities of objects and creating scenarios. It was through photography that she began her artistic journey, using it as a tool to convey her ideas.
With a growing need to materialize her imagery, Isadora started studying free modeling in ceramics. Her relationship with clay results in organic forms, born from her abstract understanding of space, influenced by her background in architecture and her affinity with everyday nature. Most of her pieces are unique, developed through a continuous process of experimentation and constructed intuitively by hand. The colors and textures she employs capture the eye and invite touch, while the interplay of light and shadow comes to life, awakening the senses in a tactile and visual dialogue.
