Mosaic bench
The collection is inspired by endangered animals from the Brazilian biomes. The aesthetic development of the product reflects the main characteristics of the referenced animal, which lives in a state of vulnerability. Its shapes and curves were created to reference the uniqueness of the species in its habitat condition. The material used in the object's making comes from the discarded remains of solid wood. The project represents furniture intended for both use and decoration. In addition to its utilitarian function, it carries a message of alertness, both regarding the need to protect endangered animals and in terms of reusing materials to foster contemporary aesthetics.
Each piece features a unique mosaic of tones. Just like us, living beings, each specimen is one of a kind.
Since they are individually crafted, each piece of furniture is signed, dated, numbered, and comes with a certificate guaranteeing the piece's authenticity. In line with the project's concept, the furniture is transported in a multifunctional box, also made from reforested wood.
